Another first, and another great deal for Joint Council 42 Teamsters—the upcoming Teamster Weekend at beautiful Santa Anita thoroughbred racetrack Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17.

The special Teamster ticket is only $5 and the bearer gets parking, clubhouse admission and a racing program. The special ticket available at Joint Council 42 and some Local Unions can be used once on either day, April 16 or 17, your choice! Or, buy two per person and go both days on Santa Anita’s exciting season-closing weekend.

The Teamster ticket provides clubhouse admission, which is the upgraded, hip area of the track with the greatest facilities and stretch run viewing of the daily racing card at the Arcadia , CA track.

First post time both days is 12:30 p.m. And the gates open at 10:30 a.m. Children under 17 are admitted free when accompanied by a parent.

Teamsters Local 495 negotiated this outstanding value package in honor of the many Local 495 members who work at Santa Anita.

“For decades, Local 495 members have expertly staffed the ‘ Great Race Place ’ and built it to the apex of North American racing,” Lennox said. “Our Teamster members work in parking, security, as outriders, assistant starters, racing officials and water truck drivers. Teamster Day participants should be sure to greet these brothers and sisters while enjoying the day.”
